FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Riding the momentum of last year’s debut and feeling fresh enthusiasm for the next chapter, officials with the 2025 PickleCon event have announced registration has begun for this year’s celebration of the sport of pickleball, set for Aug. 7-10 at the Kansas City Convention Center.
Powered by the event professionals at Triple Crown Sports, based in Fort Collins, Colo., PickleCon casts the widest net possible to attract players of all ages and skill levels, with tournament play as well as open play options on the70-plus courts that will be laid out at the site.
The schedule also includes many opportunities to get more informed about pickleball with clinics and panel discussions; a variety of vendors will be on location, and daily social activities will add to the options for engagement, such as Glow In The Dark play and an Eatertainment Tour (where the best food and drink in the city is merged with pickleball play).
The inaugural PickleCon event took place in 2024 and welcomed 2,100 attendees from 39 states and 135 vendor brands.
“We received great feedback about Kansas City as the location of PickleCon and are very excited to be back this August,” said event director Alyssa Morrison. “The city has embraced the event, and we look forward to continue bringing the world of pickleball together under one roof.”
“Of all the events I’ve attended, PickleCon truly stood out in delivering an inclusive, well-rounded experience that provided ample court time for everyone while staying focused on growing the sport,” said Nathan Holm, owner of PickleRoll Courts. “The energy was unmatched, bringing together competitive athletes, casual players and newcomers alike. It was especially inspiring to see events designed for both youth and senior players, highlighting how pickleball bridges generations and fosters community.
“From top-tier competition to family-friendly activities and an incredible variety of vendors, PickleCon had something for everyone. We are thrilled to return to Kansas City for Year 2, and we can’t wait to be part of another unforgettable event!”
